The new initiative consists of a $150,000 commitment from Binance Charity to support the educational endeavors of the Superhumans Foundation. they are a non-profit organization focused on the rehabilitation and reintegration of Ukrainian war victims, both civilians and veterans. The Superhumans Foundation operates with a high standard of medical and managerial efficiency, ensuring the delivery of top-notch services in line with global standards.
This educational program is designed as a 3-day intensive course, followed by a month of mentoring support. It is expected to recur every two months. About 100 participants are anticipated to graduate from each session, with a hopeful 30% embarking on their entrepreneurial journey upon completion.
The initiative seeks to empower veterans through a peer-to-peer approach. They aim to train 50 veterans by the end of 2024 to establish supportive communities that will help them achieve the broader goal of reaching 100,000 veterans over the next three years.
Kyrylo Khomiakov, Binance’s Regional Head for CEE & Central Asia, underscored the importance of this initiative, stating:
“Extending aid to war victims is an essential measure to facilitate their healing, recovery, and prosperity. We are privileged to unite with Superhumans in providing this assistance and optimism to individuals who have gone through terrible suffering.”
Olga Rudnieva, CEO of the Superhumans Center, also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. She pointed out the importance of providing more than just medical assistance, and highlighted the critical need for social and economic reintegration, stating.
“It’s important not only to give people the best prostheses and highest-quality rehabilitation – we aim to ensure that they have a reason to leave their apartments.”
